Unbuilt Labs

The sustainability think tank Unbuilt Labs stepped up to find out what would really happen to New York in the event of a catastrophic flooding event. They have provided the real science in four main articles that expose terrifying facts about the vulnerability of the urban architecture and infrastructure of New York to flooding and other natural disasters, and potential crises for its food distribution. And they have a second series of articles that explore possible solutions posed by the Green New Deal and other current legislation in response to Climate Change.

The graphic novel includes a factsheet exploring the progressive effects of climate change on NYC, based on research by Lowell Clare with Gauri Bahuguna & Madeleine Tervet, overseen by Marvin Cheung and Marguerite Van Cook.
